Description
The walk follows a figure-eight formation ending where you start. From here on the walk is flat to undulating.
In the heart of the park you will find the memorial to Robert Cunningham Bruce, a conservationist who gifted the district several forest patches. A short side track here leads you to the old concrete gates that were once the original entrance to Bruce Park before the highway was realigned.
Getting there
From Bulls, continue north on State Highway 1 for about 30 km (or approximately 5 km south of Hunterville) and turn down Aldworth Road.
Near the corner of State Highway 1 and Aldworth Road is a farm gate. Park here, go through the pedestrian gate and follow the gravel track into the bush.
