Share first-hand experience
Review places you have visited. Clearly distinguish personal opinion, dated observations and official access rules. Do not impersonate an operator, invent an experience or post undisclosed paid promotion. Critical reviews are welcome; harassment, spam and dangerous advice are not.
Your photographs remain yours
Upload only photographs you took or have permission to use. Obtain consent for identifiable people. You grant Outdoor Next a non-exclusive right to store, resize and display the photographs according to your selected visibility. You retain ownership and can remove them. Do not copy photographs from social platforms without a lawful basis.
Privacy and sharing
Records start private. An unlisted link can be viewed and forwarded by anyone who receives it; it is not a private access control for a named group. Public posts require review and show your display name. Your public profile is optional and excludes private visits and journals. We do not automatically collect your precise position or background travel history. Authentication uses secure cookies; security records and bounded request counters help prevent abuse.
Moderation and corrections
Submitted public content and reports can be reviewed by authorised moderators. Private journals are not placed in the publication queue. Correcting a guide requires an editor to verify the underlying facts. Community observations, levels and badges are not official safety advice, access permission or professional credentials. Contact the operator or DOC for current conditions.
Your account and data
Member settings provide a record export, individual photo downloads and permanent account deletion. Deleting a qualifying contribution removes its points. The outdoor account is separate from shop orders and ERP records. Do not upload sensitive information about other people or information you do not want visible under your chosen sharing settings. Revoking a link stops access to the original; it cannot remove copies another person already saved. Sharing a trip allows members to adapt its plan with attribution. Minimal moderation and abuse-report records may be retained separately after account deletion.
Points and limits
Points reward first place visits and approved useful contributions, not clicks, purchases, invitations or self-promotion. Duplicate rewards are excluded. Preview limits are 500 saved places, 1,000 active records, 50 processed photographs, ten uploads and ten check-ins per day. Limits may change before public launch. No cash value or paid benefit is promised.
