Use the campground directions

The driving approach follows Moumoukai Road and A R A Drive into the valley. Follow the Upper Mangatawhiri signs rather than treating the general park address as the entrance.

Allow for soft ground

Camping vehicles must be under ten metres. If winter ground conditions deteriorate, council may require campers to park outside and carry equipment to tent pitches.

Check the official campsite information before travelling. The source-check date is not live availability or an assurance that access conditions are unchanged.
