At Lake Taharoa, council lists powered camping and showers at Pine Beach, while Promenade Point is non-powered without showers. Choose the campground, not just the lake name.

Check water and pet arrangements individually

Kai Iwi Lakes requires campers to bring drinking water and prohibits pets, subject to specified assistance or public-service dog arrangements. Do not transfer those rules, or another site's pet permission, to all Northland camps.
