What this selection includes

These records are classified as holiday parks, rather than basic DOC or council campsites. Facilities and accommodation types vary: a holiday-park label does not guarantee a pool, cabin, powered pitch or pet access. Check the individual park and your dates.

249 published records. Source checks are dated, not live availability or permission. Confirm current conditions with the operator.

A service base for camping, not a guarantee of every facility

Choose the location first, then compare your actual camping style and essential facilities. A holiday park may offer tent sites, powered vehicle pitches and roofed accommodation, but these are separate products with different prices and pet conditions. A pool, playground, shared kitchen or dump station is not implied by the category.

For a family road trip, use a serviced park when you need laundry, cooking space or a weather break, and compare basic campsites for other nights. Book the correct pitch size and vehicle type. Seasonal opening, minimum stays, check-in windows and cancellation terms belong in the operator's quote.

Are holiday parks only for campervans?

No. Many welcome tent campers and caravans, but our directory only matches camping styles that are recorded. Confirm your pitch type and dimensions with the park.
